What if I am allergic to or want to avoid a specific food?

The Meal Planner currently offers three intolerance settings that can be activated within your account: soy, gluten, and nuts. If you turn any of these settings on, your recipes will not include these types of foods.

If you want to avoid certain foods and still enjoy the full library of recipes, we recommend:

  • swapping out any meals containing them and replacing them with another recipe
  • choosing to omit these ingredients/foods directly from the recipe
  • substituting them with other similar foods of preference

In most cases, these personal changes work very well!

When searching the Recipe Box, you can use the FILTER BY INGREDIENTS & MORE tab and INGREDIENTS filter to find recipes that do not include certain ingredients.

(1) Type in the ingredient/food and select it from the dropdown menu

(2) Select the red button and your recipe results will exclude that ingredient/food.

(3) Your selections will show in the "Excluded" box and remain for future searches, unless you clear the filters.
